In today’s Daily Vision Vlog, Dr. Voss shows you how to properly set up your student’s work area to keep their eyes healthy while learning from home. Here are 4 set up tips:
- Table Height – It is important that the table is at the proper height for your student.
- Screen Position – The screen should be at a 20 degree angle and at an arm’s length away to reduce eye strain.
- Slant Board – When reading or writing, a slant board helps create a 90 degree angle when your student is looking at their work. This helps reduce fatigue and skipping errors.
- Follow the 20-20-20 Rule – For every 20 minutes that you are in front of a screen, take at least a 20-second break to relax your eyes and look into the distance (20 feet away).
