Dr. Tucker has the following tips for proper contact lens wear:
1. Throw away your contact lens at the time appropriate time. For example, if you have daily contact lenses, it is important to throw them away at night. The countdown for when it needs to be thrown away starts when you open the sealed tray, not the amount of days you wear them.
2. It is important to not sleep in your lens unless it specifically states that they can be slept in. This will dry out your lenses and make them uncomfortable.
